Before Sydecar, Nik felt the pain of launching a VC as a first-time fund manager while co-managing 18.ventures. This experience directly led to founding Sydecar.
Previously, Nik co-founded Talis Partners, a law firm that specialized in advising VCs and early-stage companies. Nik began his career as an attorney at firms including Cooley and Weil, Gotshal & Manges. In his spare time, Nik enjoys stand-up comedy and cycling on long, windy roads

Shri has also been Co-Head of Business Development at Forge Global, where he was on the leadership team through its growth phase and public listing on the NYSE, and an Entrepreneur in Residence at Citi Ventures. Earlier in his career was a securities attorney at Shearman & Sterling LLP, a leading global law firm. In his spare time, Shri enjoys tennis, gardening, and legos.
