SPV
Additional Closes
What it is:
Deal Leads can now execute multiple closes for a single SPV. Instead of waiting on every commitment before funding, you can now close on the capital you’ve raised so far, and then add new or existing investors in subsequent closes. You can execute an unlimited number of closes* and maintain real-time visibility into fees, allocations, and investor status on the Sydecar platform.
How it helps you:
Raising capital isn’t always linear. Some investors commit early, while others need more time – or the company may offer additional allocation. With Additional Closes, you can keep deals moving, meet funding deadlines, and still capture incremental capital. This keeps deals flexible, helps you maximize allocation opportunities, and reduces the risk of delays.

*All closes must have the same terms and must occur within the same calendar year for tax purposes.
Deal Closing Checklist
What it is:
Our new closing checklist outlines the key tasks that are required throughout fundraising, closing, and post-close. The checklist clearly marks which items are required versus optional, surfaces the current status of each step, and includes contextual guidance to help move things forward. This update also gives you more control over the wire instruction verification process with targets.

Closing a deal shouldn’t feel like a scramble. This checklist provides a structured way to track progress, identify blockers, and stay in sync with your team without needing to contact support. By increasing visibility and reducing last-minute surprises, the checklist helps deal leads close faster and with confidence.

Fund+ Investor Management
What it is:
We’ve upgraded the Fund+ investor table to make it easier for managers to track, search, and communicate with investors. Enhancements include:
Multi-select actions, so you can send reminders or manage multiple investors at once;
Search functionality by name or email;
Clearer onboarding statuses; and
Expanded columns with details about commitments, carry, management fees, last activity, and funding progress.

We’ve enhanced our payments infrastructure to make refunds, distributions, and other payments faster and more reliable. These updates enable bulk disbursements, automatic updates to investor records, and built-in validations to ensure that payments are processed faster and more reliably.

These upgrades reduce delays and errors that previously required manual intervention, making your refund and distribution processes much smoother. Deal Descriptions and Updates
What it is:
We’ve upgraded the text editor for deal or fund descriptions and investor updates to support rich text formatting, allowing you to bold, hyperlink, and organize content with headers, bullets, and other styling tools.

Your investor communications now look as professional as your deals, resulting in a more polished experience for your investors. These improvements make it easier to deliver personalized updates that strengthen investor trust and engagement.
